Yes........WOMEN who hold senior positions are likely to be more persuasive, assertive and more willing to take risks than their male counterparts .

Women have in abundance, what men are rather thrifty about...and that is PATIENCE.
Patience is the key to persuasiveness. One needs to be at one's best and never reach the wit's end when dealing with situations, rather tricky. They keep their cool intact, while using rationality, reasoning power and convincing abilities to persuade a person to see her viewpoint and perspective.
They do it with such subtle ease, that men, with all their 'die hard' 'go getter' punch, can't even envisage.
Women, have the ability to quickly understand the mindset, the psyche of the person she is dealing with, cause of the same patience, which gives her the ability to think beyond the self and notice, observe things, minor and rather inconsequential, which a lay person would miss.
Thus they prove their persuasive abilities, beyond the comprehension of men,in general.

Women are more persuasive than men, better able to bounce back from rejection, more inclusive in their leadership style, and more likely to take risks, they are much more realistic about their limitations... Besides being persuasive women are more assertive also...They have a stronger need to get things done and are more willing to take risks than men....They were also found to be more empathetic and flexible, as well as stronger in interpersonal skills than men....enabling them to read situations accurately and take information in from all sides.. Women with their persuasive skills are able to bring others around to their point of view...because they genuinely understand and care about, where others are coming from....so that the people they are leading feel more understood, supported and valued...!
