Basically tigers' bodies are not built to be able to USE sugar from fruits and vegetables like omnivores and herbivores do. They can eat them, but they don't digest them well enough to get good energy from it -- they are built from mouth to colon to digest and take in nutrients from meat alone.

I understand your reasoning; however you are missing some points thar are misleading your conclusions. You are not taking into account the currently low tiger densities across the Russian Far East, and most of your conclusions are fairly weak. Yet, I agree one hundred% with you in stating that the Wolf is smarter than the tiger and than any of the Siberian carnivores, and that the Wolf is one of the World's top predators. The Russian Far East is home to six main predators: the Siberian Tiger, the Wolf, the Ussuri Brown Bear, the Himalayan Black Bear, the Far Eastern Leopard, and the Eurasian Lynx. However, the latter four predators can be crossed out from our analysis, since they either have a limited range or they do not actively act as top predators: the two Bear species are omnivores, they will eat anything fruits, rodents, deer, garbage, therefore they ...more

They can eat fruits but their tongue cant enjoy the sweetness or taste of the fruits. their teeth also not useful for eating the fruits vegetable and grass. moreover they cant extract energy from them than from meat because of their digestive system. they are following what the nature designed for them.
