Whenever selection to higher education, appointment, promotion etc is done on the basis of reservation, quality is at stake. Caste based reservation as well as the reservation of professional course seats to the wealthy (Management quota , in public parlance), both have contributed to the present situation where we have dangerous doctors, inefficient engineers and inept administrators.

When promotion or admission is on the basis of reservation only
and not ability and merit,
the quality of work is bound to suffer.
Reservation was for a limited period only,
and has outlived its utility today.

Then why does the president seek his personal Doctor from a Brahmin or other superior caste.....? bcz he knows that such doctors are hioghly talented and have got their degree by dint of their hard work ..... not by any reservation favouritism....

Becoz Reservation should be in age limits, cast etc but no relaxation should be given in educational qualifications and work exp atleast.
