We Indian people hardly allow media to influene our thought pattern.
We have our own agenda for politics.
Or else how corrupt leaders win election, repeatedly !

Very few people have a view of their own. But such people are always sidelined, because in democracy, numbers matter.

Media's capacity to influence the poll outcome is quite limited. Voters are mostly influenced by the vote management program of the political parties then media's opinion. Majority of the voters vote with a view of what they personally stand to gain by voting for a party/candidate rather than the party's policies or media reports. The poll outcome depends mostly on candidate / party's canvassing ability than opinions and controversies generated by media for their own survival.
