You have raised a very interesting question. Scientifically speaking, Yes. It may not be the language which you and I are using in our daily life but it the Language of the transmissions of neuronal circuits in the Brain. You may be speaking any language depending upon the number of languages you know, but for the brain and the pathways it is unique. A child who is yet to learn any language, does have his thoughts, depending upon the experiences he is developing through inputs and thought processes are demonstrable through various brain mapping studies, so what language is he using ? There must be one to do so. Languages are mere tools of communication and thoughts are internal silent communications in different parts of our brain, which are translated in to various languages known to us for expressing them at a given time. We always t hink in terms of our native language though we may communicate the thoughts in other languages we may know. However, the initial mould is the nativve tongue. A tale is told of a linquist coming to the court of the Peshwas. He was so fluent in so manmy language that it was difficult tomeet his challange to recognise his native tongue. Nana Phadanwees accepted the challange. He slipped in the room where the man was fast aleep and threw drops cold water on his face. The man started up say 'Oh, who is there? What are you doing' The words came in chaste Gujrathi (Shoo, bhai, kem karyo) Nana quitely slipped away and when they met inthe durbar next day he told the challanger that he was a Gujju which he admitted. This human tendency to think in native language is many a time a handicaap for assimmilating other language. You must have makrfed the South Indian speaking fluent Englishbut in Tamilian/Telugu/Malyalam tones and a Pujabi in Gurumukhu diction.

Yes. Thoughts have language and actions too. Some scenes do not require dialogues. Mostly it can be mother tongue. It can be other languages also. It depends on the person and the subject.
