There are roughly 4,000 species of plants in Sikkim which makes it a Botanists Paradise, 600 species of Orchids, 600 species of Butterflies, 200 species of Moths, 240 species of Ferns, 39 species of Rhododendrons
Fast flowing rivers, high altitude lakes shelters Masheer and Trout both good for game fishing. Panorama of mountains, glaciers, the icefalls and the barren land pushes every one in the quest of adventurism. Legend speaks its way, every mountain is the abode of God and goddesses, so people of Sikkim, Nepalese, Lepcha and Bhutia worship these mountains. There are more than 300 monasteries and other meditation centre spread in Sikkim. Even the hot springs are treated as pilgrimage sites. People throng into these areas for purification and cleaning of diseases.
