Most humbly...i dont agree...!! I feel biggest power for both the genders are Loyality & Honesty. ( Right from Lincon to Gandhi, Einstien to Marx, Dr. Kalam to Bhaktivedant, Churchil to Hitler.., Nehru to Sardar Patel......a long list....none of them was young in age......AND from Bollywood actresses to Aamrapalee, Chreestina Killer to Lady Dyana...!!!!!!!)

Procreation is one of the most basic and powerful instincts after survival. Rather more powerful since it deals with the survival of Species. And in a male dominant society a 'potent' and 'able' man has NO greater weakness than falling for a youthful beauty, apparantly for that very noble cause.
It was demonstrate beautifully by V Shantaram in 'Pinjra' and by Bhagvat iCharan Verma in his masterpiece hindi novel which, later, was made into a movie (starring Asok Kumar and Meena Kumari..forgetting the name).
We are all familiar about Evita and Monica Lewinski among many.
In my mind ,indeed ,there is no bigger power than the beauty of a youthful woman.

If all is calm and cool then it is otherwise not. "1942 A love...." is a dramatised expression of that. Of course it is a powerful drive that can align itself in most of situations. "1942 A love....." is again expression of that.

To discuss abt woman, I feel, the BEAUTY that you are mentioning is "soft skill" by which a woman manages her brother, father (B4 marriage), then husband & son (after marriage)..........
A girl, b4 marriage always takes an active part to shape her brother & father.... a daughter is basically takes the role of a "teacher" for both of them ....................... On the other hand, a girl's sacrifice to leave her own house (parents) & join to a unknown place ( husband's family) itself shows her great courage & dedication......She has capability to leave a guranteed happiness at her father's place, yet she leaves that place and join to a unknown (husband's) famil ...more
