There are quite a few nice movies which have been thought provoking, like Manoj Kumar's "Shaheed", Naseeruddin Shah's "A Wednesday", Amir Khan's "Sarfarosh" and "Tare Zameen Par", Shahrukh's "Chak De" but the most inspiring movie which carried the message of the Mahatma most honestly and sincerely was Richard Attenbourough's "Gandhi"

There are many movies which are very inspirational. In Hollywood Richard Attenbrough's movie Gandhi is truly inspirational. then you have Benhur, Ten Commendments etc. In Hindi you have Saheed by Manoj Kumar, Tare Zamin Phar by Amir Khan. Saransh by Mahesh Bhatt. all are exceptional and truly inspirational. The last but not the least Bimal Roy's classic like Do Bhega Zamin, Sujatha and Guru Dutt Kagaz Ki Phool all are inspirational .
