The Fifty-centimetre installation rule

A rule of thumb for the length of a cable between the surge arrestor and the mains network is the so-called Fifty centimetre rule. Similarly, the cable connecting the arrestor to a piece of equipment should be no longer than Ten metres.

If you want to see the testing please come to CPRI Bangalore-You can see the towers there which are abt Hundred meters in length
