It is the celebration of rededication of the holy temple of Jerusalam and is celebrated between the 2nd half of November/and or earlier part of December, It is a celebration lasting 8 days and 8 nights and is in the jewish month of Kislev

Hanukkah is for eight nights, starting on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, and may occur from late November to late December on the Gregorian calendar.
