Rajnath Singh who tried to praise Mr. Modi recently while addressing the national executive of BJP national minority morcha in Delhi, where he pointed out that Mr. Modi was saddened about the riots that killed more than five thousand people and that it was accidental and not at the behest of the chief minister. The BJP president had claimed, I have read his facial expressions whenever I have interacted with Narendra Modi on the issue of riots and he looks so sad about the riots.
Vanzara, who is in jail since two thousand and seven in Soharabuddin encounter, in his ten page resignation letter dated September one had categorically stated in unequivocal words that the Police Officers including himself and his seniors acted and performed their duty in compliance of the policy of the BJP government led by Narendra Modi. Vanzara in his letter to the Gujarat Additional Chief Secretary (Home) had even stated that he used to adore Modi as God.
