The effects of cyclone can be minimised by planting long / tall trees.
The long / tall trees breaks the intensity of a cyclone

Yes. Govt must be interested to develop infrastructures to face cyclone. But it seems they do not want it for ulterior motive. In costal areas govt can costruct some multistoried buildings(speacially designed) on nearby highland. These buildings could be easily used to give shelter , medical treatment , storing essential commodities during cyclone , floods etc.\\ is one example only.
