Sure. Justice in Indai is the supreme stage. Once President V.V.Giri was asked to appear in the Supreme court in connection with an election case. With a lot of careful consideration he was offered a seat at par with the Judges, but about 6 inches lower than their table and chairs. That is the Justice is supreme in India.

If you mean by Indian Justice the 'Justice'that is handed down in the Courts these days it is 'Justice' because it is in accordance with the laws passed by the Parliament. This method was handed down to us by the British. But as you must have seen in many cases the decision ,though legally correct, is a travesty of justice. I rather believe in the Panchayat system of your. Even thought is has been corupted of late on account of various influences it epitomises the spirit of justice .Really in a matter before the Panchayat there are no black and white sides. In a proceedings before a village Panchat in Mahrrashtr I witnessed.a young girl who has been forcibly married to an old man eloped with her boy-friend.When the matter came up and both wides had been heard the Panchayat was convinced that the onlyinterest the old man has in marrying was to have a cook who could cook according to his likes. The Panchayat asked him if they could arrangement for it would he still want to have his wife
