Did u watch Mr.PM's adressing to the nation about FDI.................i hv missed....:-( can u plz write few points of his adress hr .............:-)

I watched a part of it. In it PM was trying to justify the reasons for FDI in multi brand retail. He said that the farmers will get good prices and the consumers will get goods at cheap rates. He said tough reforms were necessitated to maintain the GDP growth rate. More than once he referred to the fact that the opposition parties had tried to misguide the people when liberal economic reforms were initiated in 1991 by the very same logic that the Foreign companies will rule and Indian companies will be wiped out. He further referred to the fact that not only FDI has generated employment and Indian companies had become global leaders. He said that he had great trust in the judgement of the common man and the common man will not be misguided by this false propoganda being made by the opposition parties. He finally concluded by saying that as PM of this country he promised that he will do nothing against the interest of the aam aadmi and that the aam aadmi will support him in his endevour

Lucky you are that you missed his address, which is indeed a blessing in disguise to you. First of all, how does his speech in English reach the 'aam aadmi' effectively. He said, despite the increasing number of shopping centres, there was a three fold increase in the number of small shops.
