Yes but still his wife was very much suspicious .......Eve was knowing that god created her from one of the ribs of Adam .When Adam stayed out very late for a few nights, Eve became upset. "Youre running around with other women," she told her mate.
"Eve, honey, youre being unreasonable," Adam responded. "You know youre the only woman on earth." The quarrel continued until Adam fell asleep, only to be awakened by a strange pain in his side. It was Eve poking him about the torso.
"What do you think youre doing?" Adam demanded.
"Counting your ribs," said Eve.....ha..ha

Marriage is a Social Custom .At the Time of First man There was no Society , everything was(is) Controlled by the Nature ,so the concept of Wife and Love in Realistic Term Can not be There at the Time of First Man and First Woman .
