This is a Qn arising out of a Male chauvinist view. Women was created primarily for their own sake! Not FOR men's support or comfort. It is their choice if they want to be with men or not! Whether it turns out to be of support or comfort is secondary.

God transcends gender and can be referred to as He or She. The Jewish male-dominated society influenced the tradition of referring to God as male.

Then God said, Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likenessSo God created humankind in Gods image, in the image of God s/he created them; male and female God created them.

Hosea eleven:three-four God described as a mother

God: Yet it was I who taught Ephraim to walk, I who took them up in my arms; but they did not know that I healed them. I led them with cords of human kindness, with bands of love. I was to them like those who lift infant ...more
