Congress became over confident. They never thought about the people who have elected them. They put their entire energy in earning illegal money n power. Corruption during their time sky rocketed. The best thing they could have done to return to power was to allow Rahul Gandhi to give open support to Jna Lokpal in the Parliament. That would have made him undisputed leader of the country.Instead,he adopted the congress line n opposed the bill. His recent support to Lokpal was an after thought, when they saw the spectacular victory of the AAP. If Rahul continues to show examples like this like making it mandatory for political funding to come under RTI etc. congress may think of a chance in the next election. So,yes, congress ignored many naked realities for sake of remaining in power in the name of coalition politics.
