Dhoni & Kohli going for the shots now to make up for slow run rate, can they go on to pile a huge score & take a big lead to try for innings defeat to England?

The match is evenly poised at this stage after three days. With India eight down and not much to offer in batting, the thrust will be on our bowlers to bowl out the English side cheaply. However, if the Englishmen set a fourth innings target of 200 or more in the fourth innings, India will really struggle to save the match. At this stage I foresee only two results - an English win or draw, unless there is a spectacular bowling performance by India and an equally spectacular English batting collapse which has look rock solid since the second innings of the first test at Ahmedabad. What the Dhoni-Kohli double century has ensured is that we have a fighting chance to draw the match or even a spectacular win

From here on India would be able to take a reasonable lead especially if Jadeja and Ashwin who are in good form join the party. At least I am glad Dhoni and Kohli are scoring. This will boost the morale of the team especially when arm chair critics were downgrading Dhoni as a player as well as a captain with the same kind of vengeance and haste as S&P wants to down grade India's rating. .

Although they fared well by staying for a pretty long time but the score rate was too slow Now that the bowlers enthusiasm to oust them is slowing down, they are snatching the opportunity to make the desired runs at a faster pace.
