US is no dreamer's paradise, most ppl look @ It that way. The US gave EQUAL RIGHTS in its constitution in 1776 but in the 1960s, about 100 years after civil war (approx) Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up a seat 4 a white. Martin Luther King was arrested for simply preaching equality. And we even had Rodney King in 1990s. US is VERY polarized racially, it's just that most Indian white collar ppl in US prefer hiding behind the skirts of the affluent section of the pop and brandish the others as "dirty drug peddlers", which is why u don't hear 2 much race polarization coming from there. The uS politics only TALK about uniting races, nobody actually goes ahead and does it. In terms of race & harmony India is DECADES ahead.
