Yes This qn was raised in some magazines after the release of the film. But the director said, he wanted to make it tragic.. So we see Jack kept himself in the half drowned position, holding her hand, in that sub zero temperature, and died.. Let our Indian director make this film, and you will find both on the raft , singing a song.. ''achha to hum chalte hain''
