Most commonly misquoted as stain guns, Sten MKII / Mark II are guns of the British Sten series of submachine guns. This weapon system was designed for a close combat. The whole idea behind the production of this gun was to ensure smooth operations and rapid penetration. Though the gun provided facility for loading 32 rounds, only 30 rounds were loaded for prevention of excessive wear and tear of the gun. During the Second World War this masterpiece was the favorite among the UK troops and was termed as the King of Sten submachine guns
