Nothing can be predicted in this unpredictable world. Having the potential and actually displaying it in the course of the discharge of his responsibilities are two different things. He is yet to start. Tata Group is such a vast Conglomerate. Though he may be quite conversant with the Group, it is another thing to take charge and run it, though he would have the full support of the old timers who are still around in various capacities.
Nothing should be said now. It is best to give him enough time to first take charge, and then take hold of the entire Group activities and see how he runs the show. One shouldn't expect any drastic changes, because in Tata Group, a lot of things and their modus operandi are quite set. May be, he will bring in new ideas or infuse new breath into the Group that will see Tata surging ahead in the years to come or he may just be another Chairman & MD who is there because he has the right connections.
Let's see, what he does in the years to come and ta ...more

Mr.TATA is a seasoned business man.He has observed the working n the qualities of Mr.Mistry from close quarters.I have also read a lot about him.Considering his past performance, his working style n vision ,I think there is no reason as to why he will not continue for long. However,if he commits any blunder,he may be removed.
