Q.

To tackle terrorism initiated by Pakistan, our options are either to attack Pakistan or to bring international pressure on them. After Parliament attack, though we threatened war, but we did not wage war (rather we could not wage war due to international pressure) and terrorism continued. Present government has brought international pressure on Pakistan quite effectively and as a result we did not have any Pakistan initiated terror attack on Indian soil since 26/11/08 i.e. nearly a year. Do you think, the present government deserves full credit for this?

In the longer run please answer me:

1. how China has manged to get most of Taiwan- who has DIRECT US BACKING- to endorse Chinese integration at a mainstream level whereas EVERY economist in 80s for ex forecasted the OTHER way round.

Woe unto this day that we, the common folks have to "thank" our rulers for keeping us all safe from Pakistan-inspired terror. Isn't this the precise thing that any government at the Centre is supposed to do ? And when the govt. does not "thank" us for paying our taxes regularly and unfailingly, why should we thank it for doing its task ? And another equally important thing : this so-called "international " (meaning American), pressure has not deterred the Paki establishment from sending their home-grown terrorists into India to create murder and mayhem. It seems to work only on our rulers who perform the shameful task of mobilising our army right on the border, and later on putting its tail between its legs and calling the forces back. We are sick of such nincompoops and have rightly shown them the door.Be it the Pakis, or the Chinese, any show of reluctance to resort to the use of force at the slightest provocation, while appreciated in the eyes of the Western audience and the U. ...more

Pakistan is sending terrorists through kashmir on large numbers but due to alertness and vigilence of our security forces many of them have been killed but they are sending fake currency, drugs and involve in love jehad. it is weakness of our govt, that we can not put case of terrorism effectively due to appeasement of muslims when we can not hang afzal guru and finish trial of kasab how we can fight terrorism effectively. we are planning to please muslims at home out of constitution.

Apart from mounting diplomatic pressures through all possible International Forums, India might have resorted
to some parallel and top-secret techniques in financing the TALIBANS, BALUCHS & AFGANS for sporadic and similar skirmishes in their territories too.

I agre to your observation. However India must keep in mind that all international powers are not our true friends. All the countries take interest in any other country just due to political or economical interest.India has to be ready to face an attck /initiate an attck on Pakistan whenever the need arises.
