Your loss is purely due to your greed at first place and then fear. Never invest without proper knowledge of the scrip in which you are investing, otherwise you will continue getting losses. It is not difficult to get back your losses, but you have to consult some knowledgeable person to guide you in the matter. It is not possible to advise you meaningfully through this, without knowing your investments and your level of knowledge in this field.

Ignore all tips from experts. now that you are much wiser select from bse 30 & nse 50 scrips, invest judisiouly in small lots at dips. do not sell at loss, these scrips will always appreciate. you will not regret.

By investing i assume its the market your talking about. You should NEVER sell at a Loss, and u should not be too dependent on the money that u have invested. 2008 was a good time to invest because the markets were down and all the prices of the shares would have been cheap, i dont know how u lost so much

Dont panic. do invest in the same stock at lower price.accumulate at lower price. Then the average will come down. by 2013 you will get 400% of return.

No Doubt making money is much difficult than loosing in quiety market, I can't make sure that what ever money you lost will be gained soon, but still as a trader and investior I can suggest few stock which may make yout capital to the original, or may be more that. Provided market don't crash again like 2008.

Consult more knowledgeable person in the field. Don't do any F&O transactions, intra-day txns without knowledge. These are the areas where you loose your valuable, hard-earned money in LOTs. Also just don't depend on on-line/TV share tips. They will drag down you. YOU NEED EXPERT ADVICE. Take care of your money. It is not simple!!!

It is not a big deal to recover but should have will power to hold on to the quality stocks. Sell all your shares and buy equal quantities of Fortis Healthcare, TV18, SUZENE and MOSBAE and donot change as these have high potential upside. Sell the above share if does not appreciate in 2 quarters if it goes up allow it to fully grow
