While qualifying as a CA still continues to be a diffucult task, the MBAs have become rather routine. But the fad for hiring a MBA has increased, so much so that even CAs are sometime seen to pursue their MBA to add weight to their CV.

Well scenario has certainly changed a bit now. Now a days the employers give preference to only those persons, who holds MBA degree from a reputed college or university. Students from reputed institutions like UPES, Dehradun, IIM, ISB gets preference everywhere in any position. So my advice to you is that go for good institutions for you career.

MBA Diploma from IIM, Ah'bd, Kolkata, Bangalore are most valuable followed by MBA Degree from Delhi, and Bombay University. One having had MBA from these institutions still enjoys an upper hand since the the Big and listed Indian Companies and MNCs prefer them only. CA is a different stream, which has nothing to do with MBA - Mktg., HR., Hospital Admn. and so on. CA is preferred over MBA in Accounts.
