Yes it will but not in our lifetime. The sun is a star and like all stars it has a limited lifespan.It will burn out one day. Before it dies it will become very bright and double its size - it will be a super nova and then finally collapse into itself forming a black hole. Come to think of it this entire Universe has a limited lifespan.

The Sun is about 4.5 billion years old. it has used up about half of its nuclear fuel (hydrogen) and in about 5 billion years from now, the sun will begin to die.The star is now a white dwarf, a stable star with no nuclear fuel. It radiates its left-over heat for billions of years. When its heat is all dispersed, it will be a cold, dark black dwarf - essentially a dead star (perhaps replete with diamonds, highly compressed carbon). .....

because even we assume hypothetically that sun will disappear one day, by that time race of human beings must have been extinct! That means we'll never know! So sun will never disappear!
