Collector Alex Paul Menon of Sukma Dist. Chattisgarh said after being released by Maoists that he would continue his duties in the same Sukma dist only and would resist any attempt to post him anywhere else.

A second abduction by famliars abducters should be far less scary than the first. Besides, the hero image he enjoys there, should be motivating him as well.

He is making that statement because he knows he's safe. I would seriously give my head 2 u if he made the same statement in an area under influence of Jammu Kashmir separatists or ULFA.
The Naxalites don't do summary executions of folk- they have a due system of law and the collector knows this. Even Jinha-- the MLA -- was freed by People's Court even if we can be 300000 percent sure that the gunmen who abducted the MLA prolly opposed this head and toe. But still People's Court prevailed.
The Maoists only target people who go after innocent Tribals for self gain. Leaders or gunmen law don't rule the Maoists- the PEoples' Court and the revolutionary code does.
