Can we put the total blame on Indian industrialists or businessmen if they try to get their projects early from any ministry by offering bribes? No. Because that is how the Indian ministers and bureacracy function. If a business man submits a proposal to the ministry and waits honestly to get it cleared on its own, then the proposal will lie in cold storage in the ministry or department for years and the businessman will continue to incur losses.
Now that the Coalgate scam has come to the forefront because of the observations of the ex-CAG of India, these businessman will be made scape goats. But the moot qiestion is for some period of time our PM was also the coal minister and even during the period when he was not coal minister, the scams that took place were in the knowledge of the PMO. So why did our honourable PM sit quiet?
