I drive my car withing the permissible speed limits Where max speed is permitted I remain within that permitted speed.

Whatever is appropriate to the road I am travelling on, the prevailing conditions and the legal speed limit.

Under the present conditions of traffic, there is hardly a choice in selecting a speed with which you want to travel in most of the metros, more so in peak hours, a term which by itself is becoming redundant because the pile up is there all the time. Which means, we have to select a speed sometimes as low as 10km/hr to flow with the traffic and in some strectches can go upto 100 kms on the outer peripheries.

But today, there are highways all over India which are well constructed, with medians and barriers and good surface that the only restraining factor would be how well one can control the vehicle. Two egs. are the Bangalore - Pune High way and NH 46 to Chennai, on both of which I have been able to hit and maintain 155 km/hr over considerable stretches of the road.

It varies as per the traffic, red lights and the clean road.

In the town area 30- 50 kms /h On high ways 80-100 kms. /h

I maintain 90 to 100 in highway and city roads 45 to 60 kmph

The maximum speed at which i drove the car was 160 KMPH in abroad. A "FORD" fully automatic vehicle

On Highway I have driven it with maximum speed of 110 Kms/Hour
and Average speed i maintain is 60-70-80 Kms / hour

I used to drive at an average speed of 45 Km ,when the roads are good with moderate traffic.
