In spite of corruption-galore as is everywhere, Andhra Pradesh Government seems to be the most successfully managed one, because of the policies on several welfare and rehabilitation schemes initiated and successfully implemented by Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, who eventually met with a copter crash and died. Though the successor Mr. Rosaiah ascended the throne as the Chief Minister, the schemes such as free housing, loan to women at nominal interest rate, health-care facilities to the poor at muti and super specialty hospitals at free of cost have not been abandoned but still being continued. Recently, when I interacted with cross-section of peple from all walks of life in that State, most of them expressed happiness over good governance. What more else is required to prove that the government is most successfully managed...?

Considering influx of huge number of refugees daily added to already cruel in-habitation and the demand and attention of international respect and delicacy, Delhi Government is doing extremely well.
We also have to consider how less power it enjoy compare to other full fledged states.

Maharastra, gujarat, tamilnadu to name few, as one can see the infrastructure development, lot of investment coming in the states and to my view gujarat is in the race as we are discussing about best managed government, the people of gujarat have no complains w.r.t. the way administrration of the state is concern, though their may be few but have curtail down. its the best manged government with foresightedness of the govt to manage water scarcity, industrial zone development, housing, drainage and all internal roads linking to interior villages, electricity supply, pipeline natural gas in few cities and many more to b covered. And hardly any corruption case has surfaced out during the tenure of modi government. except in the opposition being jelous of the development of the state trying to disrupt the state government with the power in central. I m from baroda and may people feel bias but ask the people who are from other states residing in Gujarat for thier earning bread and butter ...more

Gujarat seems to be the most efficient and well managed state in India. The main reason is its leader, the CM who is pragmatic in his approach. He is not bothered about the criticsm by the Oppositon but concentrating on the development of his state. The CMs of the Congress ruled states and the CM of Karnataka are concentrating in making money. In that way, they are progressing well at the cost of the state.
