Since we are not the nation with presidential type of government, he is not empowered to take decisions on his own. However,president may agree or nay not- on issues forwarde to him by the cabinet

The president has no powers to take any decisions all decisions are taken by the cabinet of minister and the president just signs on the dotted line

President of India acts in accordance with the advice given by the Parliament, and cannot act arbitrarily.
The mechanism is such....
If at all there is a wrong decision is passed, it cannot be due to the President of India alone.
