Wash the portion with petrol or kerosene, grease is easily soluble in them. Afterwards apply a little bleaching powder in water and keep for some time. The stain too will disappear.

Removing grease from clothes is the same as removing it from your dishes... Dawn (or similar) dish detergent works great--just spread it on the spot and let it sit for at least 10 minutes (or overnight) and then wash as usual.

If it's a grease stain that has been washed and dried in (and is still there) then use the Dawn and let it sit overnight at least. Then, you can use your normal detergent in a HOT wash (helps melt and get rid of the grease). If the garment cannot be washed in hot water because it's a bright or deep color, then use the hottest water recommended on the label. If it's cold water only, then use some Calgon water softener in your wash (you can use this with hot water too), and it will help your detergent work even better to get that grease off the fibers of your clothing--especially if your water is hard at all.
