At this stage it is premature to make comparisions with Rahul Dravid as Pujara has just begun his career and has a long way to go. Yes he has got all the characteristics of a good test batsmen like patience, skill; style, tight defence and an uncanny ability to punish the lose deliveries. However, he has yet to prove himself in foreign conditions in an alien environment of fast pitches and without the support of the home crowd. But I am positive that he has got it in him to succeed there also and it is only then that we can say that we have got a good replacement of the wall. What made Rahul Dravid special was that amongst the fabulous four great Indian batsmen he was the the only one who had a better average than on foreign soil than when he was batting in India.
