Chirag ka design aisa hai ke uske neeche andhera rehta hai..later on few wise people started seeing it philosophically and made it resemble the human agony

Q ki uski lau...sirf uper ki taraf jati hai..aur chiraag ka ghera...lau ki roshni se bada hota hai...is liye roshni ka marg khud chirag hi rok leta hai...
agar chirag transparent ho to chirag tale bhi roshni ho sakti hai :)
