Q.
China and India with rising middle-class and increasing wages, the countries are experiencing tremendous economic growth. However in terms of overall growth, India still lags behind China in most metrics. This is despite India being the worlds largest democracy and China being a communist state with a one-party rule. Though both countries embraced free market capitalism, Chinas political system keeps the country on the right track by focusing on economic prosperity and countrys development while Indias political system breeds chaos, corruption - What should be done ?

It seems not all correct in your statement. Search for the country who bribe maximum overseas, it is China.
China is neither a democratic nor a communist country. They need investments from overseas capitalists, they need capitalist countries to buy their junk products, etc. etc. but they call themself Communist but it is nothing but dectorialship which is ruling their. Go and see in SE.Asia, they are most corrupt ppl. among all. Singapore is ruled by minority Indian but not Majority Chinese.
They produce junk products which no dealer guarantee beyond door step of that shop. I do n't see need of comparing ourself with Chinese and go in that rat race.
