Since makers of reality show do not compel people to watch those shows and people have an option as to whether they should watch a particular shows or not, there should not be any restriction from the government. TV shows should be left to self regulate. So long it is not obscene or infringes any of the existing laws, government should not interfere. If the public is good enough to decide what kind of government they need then they are also good enough to decide what shows they want to watch and which show they do not want to watch. If people at large do not wish to watch reality shows then those kind of shows will never get produced.
