Yes.... my principle is not 'eye for an eye' or 'measure for measure' . I would always look for a chance to return one's hatred with love and care with a hope to bring about a change in the relationship...but even then, if I am addressed with animosity, time and again, I would give up my strategy to cure the person with my love.. I would either wait for the person realizing his wrong/unjustified attitude towards me or go into perfect silence......

Not for long. Once, it can be understood as a natural reaction to hatred. Twice, it can again be forgiven as anger takes time to cool down. Thrice...... very few people can be so resisting against someone's hatred this long and this is the point when most of the people stop those soft talks and either ignore or return back the hate to that person who is consumed by hatred!
