Q.

Its my personal feeling that amongst all "Bengalis" per say are very talented god has showered. For example in film industry Kishoreda, Panchamda,SDBurmanda,Hemantda, Bimal Royji, Sharmila Tagoreji, Bipasha Basuji, Hrishikeshmukerji, Asit Senji, Ashok Kumarji, all are talented and outside film industry or so I feel Bengalis are most talented and moreover their language is so sweet to hear but I suppose very difficult to say & learn. I dont knw its my perception that I have come across many of my Bengali colleagues are all talented & very clever. God has given them inner talent. Your views??

Bengalis are very lovable and therefore they are success. You have not mentioned Ravindranath Tagore. He is the greatest poet India has ever produced. And for that matter all Indians are lovable.

Yes the above Bengali names you mentioned is true that they were and are talented, but why have you forgotten Sushmita Sen my favourite. Don't we say God is just, so are we not all children of god then why would god act partial. Just start counting the non Bengalis also and you will see in the list names of non Bengalis will out number this list.

Their artistic abilities are honed better. But today, Bengali has lost the edge in the Literary world. Similarly Marati theatre has become very strong. They dont use their knowledge productively - so they end up resisting everything and end up against industrialisation. Since there are less opportunities with in WB, they are forced to look out and hence they are known outside their state.

Out of the names u have mentioned, u will notice that most of them are a thing of past.
