First point is that Anna is not a flop. He has achieved a lot in Maharashtra. Many politicians had to bite the dust because of his movement. He works against corruption and for rural development. People should go to Ralegaon Siddhi and see for themselves what he has achieved.
By comparison, Gandhiji was highly qualified, had traveled world, read a lot whereas Anna is simple person who worked and retired as a driver in the Indian Army. Naturally, he cannot be expected to have wide knowledge like a Barrister Gandhiji. However, he is committed to his goal and is a success in his own way.
The freedom movement against foreign rule involved many other leaders in addition to Gandhiji and people wanted independence. That issue attracted people throughout India.
Anna's fight against corruption is going on well but it needs time. We should appreciate Anna's determination for not falling prey to enter politics. He is apolitical and is against all those who are corrupt, irrespective of ...more

Gandhi had not started the campaign on his own. He had joined Gokhale etc. who had already begun it India. He became famous for the Non-violence. And the word Mahatma was given him because he talked very idealistic things like The Truth, The Non Violence, Not to Steal, Not to hoard, Brahmchary, Purity, Contentment, Penance, etc.
He became the leader for his unique ways to fight with the britishers. He had not make a ground for. The ground was already set as Congress Party.

Gandhi ji knew the pulse of the people and he was into non violent movement for twenty one years before. He evolved non violent movement on his own through various readings of great men.whereas anna just followed non violence without understanding the need of the hour.

Anna Hazare's effort is not flop, may be less in efficiency .. he is giving hope .. a platform for struggles to come
..
you can say it in case of Ramdev..to me, a hopeless guy..he should go on working with his knoweledge about human body, try to acquire some more knowledge who vows to replace alopathic treatment with Ramdevgiri..as a first step , he should fix his left eye with his method of treatment

Very very simple sir
Before Gandhiji started his mission he visited all parts of the country and find the common men problems
He got the pulse of the people and attacked one known enemy
But in Anna Ji's case , he didn't follow anything as above
Rather he straight away entered the scene and attack all unknown
His supporters also not have much records except few
I hope u got my point
