Personally I am against all killing whether human or animals. However abortion as an issue should be taken from case to case, for example if it endangers' the mother's life, or if the foetus is severely damaged due to genetic flaws and has no chance to live if born or if the woman is a victim of rape. To prevent unwanted pregnancy proper preventive methods should be adopted.

Better to abort than to bring an unwated child into the world for which the parents cannot afford the needful. Many a cases an unwated child's soul is destroyed when it comes to know that it was due for abort , but was stopped by a well wisher. All thru the life, the child will feel thru the treatment that it has come as an execess baggage into the world. In country like ours where children of the pre 80s were not cared much unlike our foreign counter parts, it is better to think of the quality and not quantity. Well, I am one such unwanted child that survived the clean up bcos of a grandma in the family. Guess what, all thru my life, all I got was the left overs from the elder sibling.

Yes, abortion is justified if you don't want the child and it has happened by chance because giving birth to the child should be just the joint decision of husband and wife. i don't know why govt. makes such rules which are sometimes difficult for innocent people. for example, if a girl is raped and by chance becomes pregnant. our govt. says that she should go to police station and informs the police and then in the court also she should face humiliation. the neighbours and relatives should know about this mishappening and then the life is just a dead snake for the poor girl.

in my opinion, abortion should be permitted so that in case of these mishappenings, the victim should have the right to decide about her life and can go for abortion. it should be her right whether to file a complaint or not. after all its her life.

Religiously not, but if we see the situation in our country-Yes, we are more than 105 crores, if a child is not wanted by parents due to any reason, why to have him/her, just he should daily die and daily survive, particularly girl child. or our constitution should be amended where abortion should be declared an offence.

It's perfectly justified if both the parents consent to. Also bringing up a child is an immense responsibility task ...a decision with regards to this needs to be taken with utmost care. Abortion is a step given to us to rectify the mistake if one feels so.

If two adults on consent can go for it why not the same adults terminate as well . If a life is god given we should not eat egg or non veg. The choice to terminate should vest with indiviuals. Bringing in legal staus only leads to crime ,flourishing of quacks and blackmail

Although law prohibits abortion.. to me it is justifiable. As most of the conception are accidental.. it is better to remove them in the beginning than allow it to suffer.. being neglected etc... it should a choice of mother
