Can you believe, a survey ranked Mumbai worlds second most honest city?
India often finds itself embarrassingly high on the corruption index, rating among the most corrupt countries in the world. However, in a recent experiment, the country's commercial capital Mumbai presented a different picture. The ruse was a simple, abandoned wallet lying on the road, and recording how many people stumbling on it return it to its owner. This uncomplicated trick established Mumbai as the second most honest city in the world.

It is true. There is (comparatively) more honesty here. Maybe due to Marathi and Parsi culture
(i am not denigrating other communities or being parochial but let us also not deny facts which stare at our face)

Yes, read the news. It is as per experiment or survey done by Readers Digest by deliberately keeping wallet with three thousand rupees. While, there is no doubt that honestly still prevails. It is perhaps the fear factor like terror angle that might have also played its role when people returned the wallets.
