Here the First question is who we consider to be the omnipotent and omnipresent .. for me its the Nature .. and wrath of nature can be seen very clearly ... tsunami , Sandy , neelam etc are the natures revenge for the people going against it .

Revenge is a socially created behaviour by human society. Other living beings if at all have revenge use it for defensive purpose. Nature or Omnipotent use it as life cycle, good results for good people and bad results for bad people.

He is pure love and beyond any such thing.
But the eternal laws of Nature ensure that everyone gets reward or punishment according to his actions

If some body take revenge we get fruits of our karma either in this birth or last birth so lord krishna also gave 100 chances to shishupal so we must behave accordingly so that no omnipresesnt power shall take revenge
