Few thoughts among several : 1) Two days ago Sen. Patrick Leahy senior senator from Vermont , Chairman of Senate Judiciary Committee met in the White House with President Obama's senior legal advisor to discuss ' investigation of George Bush and other for unlawful acts ' ..... ; next , Americans have according to polls voted repeatedly George Bush as the worst President ever. It used to be Herbert Hoover who was President during the Great Depression of 1929. Next ; this Singhvi guy also was showering praise on Republican Presidents more for India than Democrats. He is oblivious to Nixon's tilt toward Pakistan at the time of Bengla Desh freedon. United States Navy's 7th fleet was sent to knock at India's door as a threat to back off . Next ; Congress Party lost its moral bearings over the last two decades + , now we are witness to its loss of intellect. It looks more like a pack of cards , two jockers at least ...this spokesman is jocker number one........

Mr. Abhishek Singhwi says that Bharat Ratna should be awarded to George Bush meaning thereby there is no Ratna in India in comparison to Mr. Bush. Value of Indians and Congress men has faced such huge erosion that there is acute scarcity of good patriotic person in India Mr. Singhwi has not indicated the reason in his mind which prompted him to choose Mr. Bush for Bharat Ratna. However What I can visualize is that Mr. Singhwi means to say that by dint of nuclear deal with India Mr. Bush has done unprecedented help to India and hence according to him Mr. Bush deserves Bharat Ratna award.
If it is so, Russia should have been given many such Bharat Ratnas in the past by Congress Party because as friend of India ,the erstwhile USSR did a lot for India and it is Russia which helped India at all critical occasions including at time when India was at war with Pakistan. I am astonished that America or Mr. Bush has been added in friends list by Congress Party leaders who along with left part ...more

Many, many years ago in a couple of speeches I've heard Bush speak of India as India-Pakistan as if it were one word, one country. I think now he knows they are two separate countries and that's why they think he deserves the award !!!

Abhishek Singhvi is a seasoned lawyer and a very glib spokesman of the Congress Party. He has a way with words , when addressing a press conference. But he gets carried away by his glibness and over cleverness, like the earlier spokesman, Kapil Sibal.
Sanghvi does not realise that politics is not a courtroom, where the flair for arguments can win you cases. The tendency to shoot off the mark is very visible in such statements he makes.
George Bush has just played games, for the benifit of the USA and not India. Bharat Ratna is for a outstanding Indian . Not a foreign President, who has led his country to disastrous situations

Probably Abhishek Singhvi wishes to honor him for his contribution towards dishonoring a very efficient political rival and one of the biggest headaches of Congress - Narendra Modi by not allowing him US visa during his tenure.
