Bauls are divinely inspired poets of Bengal. The music of the Bauls, refers to a particular type of folk song sung by Bauls. It carries influences of Hindu bhakti movements as well as the suphi songs. Ravindra sangeeth is greatly influenced by Baul music. This music is accompanied mostly by one stringed instruments.
