Hinduism is a way of life and not a dogma. Even Christainity and Islam were only life styles but afterwards assumed a form of religions with well defined religious heirarchy. I n hindu society such a transformation could not take place. Hindu society remained disorganised amorphous society unlike the Christainity and Islam which were well oraganised and governed by the religious heirarchy. The word hindu appears in the ancient texts in sanskrit and is acronym for "heenani gunani dushayati iti Hindu" meaning a hindu is a person who destroys the evil instincts within him or priority basis.
