I invested in Reliance Power @159 for 5 years. I want a handsome return. But my friends suggested me to go with NTPC. I m confused. Friends, Please help.

Do not go for NTPC as it is a PSU.....it may not move as much as it should be.....but rpower wil get u better returns in same time frame....

R power is a good stock but for the time being, reliance industries might come with a power project in future, which will not be good for this stock, if you have a long horizon i.e. 5 years invest in any infrastructure sector, auto sector. L&T, ARSS, Lanco, Amtek, to name a few.

R Power after 5 years may be priced at 350+.NTPC after 5 years may be priced at 300 +.

I feel if u r ready for holding period of 5yrs then you have done a excellent move as you might earn 100%..after 5yrs
