This universe is a huge Macrocosm with many many layers of microcosms within it. The same basic characteristics are reflected through out. So is life. Life continues through birth and death. within that, u have waking state and sleeping state, and waking state goes through many events and people each coming and going in you, and still within u have day and night, and still within there is the breathing where u inhale and exhale.....the moment between u complete an exhale and take the next inhale is a small death!
Sleep is not a rehearsal of death, but a lesser death!

Sleep can be said rejuvenation of life, not rehearsal of death.A sound sleep generally rejuvenates the mind and body as well.Sleepless peoples have lots of physical & mental problems.
