Omega Scrolls by Adrian Hage, based on some fascinating research on the "Dead Sea Scrolls", dovetailed into a fiction by a clever intermixing of fact and imagination. And it was while reading this novel, that I once got automatically linked to the Rediff forum and had my first peep into this world, which was a first time experience for me, as I had shunned such forums all these years. For good or bad, I am here. For a very personal reason, I will always be here around, with the only variable being my level of participation, which is dictated by my other priorities in life.

Coming to the novel, it is a "racer" in the real sense of it, something like Stephen King's "River God" which again is total interwining of history and fiction based on a period in Egyptian history around 4000 BC. My last novel was a Kannada novel called " Avarana" by SL Bhyrappa!! This book exposes pseudo secularist - Jnanapith Awardee Mr U R Ananth Murthy and also goes on to prove Tippu Sultan was not secular as claimed by many. It gives proof on every statement it has made. This has made UR Ananthmurthy & Girish Karnad supporter of Tippu shut their mouth!!!

I have given up reading novels quite some time, after I was introduced to the computer. The last one I read was Thorn Birds and very touching story about an old lady in love with a young priest. Very absorbing indeed.
