Can government of India buy land outside India to expand it's land resources?

If u buy a land at China it will remain as a Chinese territory and not an Indian territory. So it is not possible to expand land resources this way, unless the nation in which the land situated sells its territorial title also.

YES , INDIA has already been doing it - its like buying rights to use / mining / oil exploration , etc.

As an Indian citizen, no one is allowed to buy any land in foreigh country,He or She must be green card holder of that country. India can not buy foreign land as it is regulated by International Laws.

No islands are now free for sale or occupation , in the entire Globe.
All are within the territories of of some countries or the other , as per INTERNATIONAL TREATY.
