No, law alone wont help very much!
We need an attitudinal change. As a society STUCK in past values and traditions, it is very difficult for Indians, especially in parts of north India, where values of Treta yug and SriRam and Manu are still considered the final norm (no offense meant). Let us hope the painful events like the one in Delhi will open our eyes!

It has been revealed after extensive case studies, women are not even safe in their homes! Especially little girls.
To such low depths we have descended as a society. Almost all of us belong to Tamas category.

There laws in place, but wtz required is involvement of ppl. in kerbing all kind of crimes. Should rise to occasion when we see crime and put our foot down to oppose it, instead watching the fun in it.

Few things are needed, effective investigation, quick justice and social awareness amongst people.laws should be so harsh that culprits will think tentimes before committing crime.

No. We need to spread awareness about this evil,
right up to the village level.
Strict laws should be in place, but of no use without awareness.
